In order to record individual simultaneous renditions in the language lab for subsequent critique in small group workshops,all participants must bring a portable, battery-operated cassette recorder (it must be able to record and play back your voice) and three or four high-quality blank audio tapes. Digital recorders will also work.

Participants should also bring English and Spanish bilingual dictionaries, steno-pads or note pads, pens and pencils.
