
In order to record individual simultaneous renditions in the language lab for subsequent critique in small group workshops, all participants must bring a portable, battery-operated digital or cassette recorder (it must be able to record your voice) and three or four high-quality blank audio tapes.
Participants should also bring English and Spanish bilingual dictionaries, steno-pads, pens and pencils.
The required text for the course is: "Fundamentals of Court Interpretation: Theory, Policy and Practice" by Roseann D. González, Victoria F. Vásquez, and Holly Mikkelson.
